This group of paintings is blazingly colorful. They deal with outer space themes and communication with the other galaxies. These large abstract paintings explore the use of space upon a canvas utilizing expansive areas of vivid color, punctuated by lines and dots applied in an innovative "tube painting" technique. The emphasis of these huge room size paintings is to toy with the viewers’ sense of reality and perspective, allowing the eye to move deep into and far out of the painting. There is a relationship of objects floating into another’s orbit which creates a delicate sense of tension; that is magnified by firm boundaries and perimeters.
